Personal data we collect
Brandbook.io uses Stripe to handle payment processing.
When you sign up to Brandbook.io, the country of your IP is detected to determine Dutch VAT status for billing purposes and a trial subscription is created in Stripe . We also collect your email address for authentication and communication purposes. You have the option to enter your name in the Brandbook.io settings page which lets us personalize our communication with you.
When you subscribe to paid plan, the country of your IP is detected to determine Dutch VAT status and billing information is collected including your company name, company address and optional EU VAT number. This information is sent to Stripe for validation and billing purposes.
Names, email addresses, billing addresses, VAT numbers and country are stored securely for internal record keeping, subscription management and sending relevant notifications.
With your consent, we may send you periodical newsletters and promotional information via email.

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Cookies are used to allow users to login into Brandbook.io. These cookies are a technical requirement to provide the Brandbook.io service — so called functional cookies.
We are committed to keeping your information secure. We use industry standard security procedures to maintain our systems which are private and can only be accessed by Brandbook.io. Please refer to our Security policy for more information on the steps we take to keep Brandbook.io secure.
Brandbook.io does not store or handle any credit card or payment information. All payment details are securely transferred directly between you (the purchasing client) and Stripe (our payment provider).
Access to your personal data
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Financial transaction records are kept for 7 years which is required by Dutch law.
